Well i've been very slack updating this over the last month, maybe its because I have been chasing a rolly-polly baby all over the place! She has really mastered the art of the roll, going from one end of the room to the other in no time, the only problem being that she can only roll in one direction.. so she gets to the edge of the room, then yells at me to turn her round again! She's really not too far off crawling now, because she can do a push-up so that she's on her hands & knees, but so far can only jiggle herself backwards... She's chewing on everything she can get her hands on, so we think teeth aren't far off as well. Her hair is quite blond now, but is slowly growing to cover up the bald patch that she rubbed on the back of her head. She's following after her dad at the moment, last night she ended up auditioning for an advert for Huggies nappies (sorry dad!), which was quite funny, but I think she's a bit little yet!

6 Weeks (almost)

We had our first visit from the plunket nurse today, and, true to form, someone proceded to put on a show! There was coo-ing and goo-ing, big grins and chuckles, and when the nurse had put her on her tummy, she promptly rolled over onto her back! Doubtfully on purpose, but we were impressed none the less. The nurse said she was very strong and 'beautifully plump' (makes her sound like we're fattening her up for xmas! :-D ), she now weighs 5.32kg, which puts her at the 75% quartile for girls of her age, proving all of us who thought I'd have a small baby very wrong!
