Well our little girl is now over a quarter of a year old!
She is still doing very well, eating well, sleeping well and growing well. She hasn't been weighed in a while, but is now pushing the upper limits of her 000 clothes, and will be too tall for her car seat very soon!
She is becoming a very sociable little lady, she loves attention from everyone! On a less charming note, her newest trick is combining blowing bubbles with sticking her tongue out.. yep, blowing raspberries! And with the smug look on her face, we know that she thinks she is hilarious!

Our little girl is growing up fast! At her 11 week weigh last week, she was 6.56kgs, now well over the 75th percentile. Last week her new development was blowing bubbles, which she now does often and with great relish! This week she added poking her tongue out to her repetoire, which is very, very cute.
Yesterday we had a real breakthrough, she has been batting at her play gym for a while, but yesterday, she reached up and took her rattle out of my hand, and started shaking & bashing it around, laughing & cooing at it. She was very proud of herself (as was I!). I'm still in awe of how fast she picks up new things, its already amazing to look back at the tiny, helpless blob she was a few short weeks ago, as opposed to the clever little person she is quickly becoming!
How fast time goes... little Alexis is now two months old, and continues to amaze us every day. She moves quite purposefully now, attempting to reach for things though usually missing, and reaching out an hand towards us when she wants us. She is very talkative, and is developing new facial expressions each day. She is getting really good at holding her head up, keeping it upright for over a minute at a time without even wobbling.
Her big 1/2 brother Kadyn has invented a game to play with her too, when she is lying on the floor, he crouches next to her, then when one of her arms happens to hit him, he flings himself backwards like she has knocked him over! She has no idea what is going on, but he seems to enjoy it, and it looks very funny! Its great to see how well he has accepted her, he loves giving her kisses, hugs and... pats?!
It's incredible to think that we are already a 6th of the way through her first year, but we're enjoying every minute!
Hey all, our wee girl is now 7 weeks old, and weighs 5.69kg. She is 'talking' a lot, coo-ing & goo-ing at us incessantly when she's awake. She is smiling on purpose now, and chuckles when she gets what she wants. She is getting better & better at holding her head up, and her chubby legs can support her weight for quite a few seconds now too.
Yesterday we went to her Aunty Steph's wedding, which was lovely, and she got to meet lots of new family members, and was passed around for lots of cuddles all evening, she was very well behaved, just lapping up the attention! The photo on the left was taken yesterday morning with her in the cute dress she wore, looking like a proper little girl. I've added some more photos, including ones from the wedding, onto her page. We were so proud!
