today, and seems more and more like a little person every day. She had a visit from the midwife yesterday who was very impressed with her size - "Just look at those amazing chubby little thighs!"- She is now weighing in at 4520g, which means she's added a block of butter in a week!We've had the first tentative attempts at smiling over the past few days, just imitation at this point and rather lacking in conviction, but we think it's sweet. The scowl is the usual fixture!
She is spending a little more time awake everyday, as well as more concentrated periods of eating and sleeping, which is nice, but she is determined to be fed whenever I try to have dinner! One day I'll get a hot meal... ;)
